Ingredients:

- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup water (alternatively 1/2 water and 1/2 cows milk if your little one is 1yr or older)
- half of a mashed banana (alternatively grated apple or soaked raisins are equally delicious)
- a dash of cinnamon
- a pinch of salt (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Method:

Combine rolled oats and water in a saucepan, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes. Add mashed banana (or apple/raisins) and cook for an extra minute or two. Combine with coconut oil to taste, and sprinkle with cinnamon and a hint of salt. Top with summer puree of your choice! If rolled oats seem too grainy for your little one, you can puree them with a hand blender to get the consistency right. Let stand for 5 minutes to cool down before serving. This recipe is an ideal breakfast for the whole family!

Have a great fall season!
